Oil pressure warning (the return of)

I know that there have been loads of posts on dodgy oil pressure sensors But if you could all humour me

On start up yesterday warning code 2 and 18 oil pressure and sensor when cancelled oil pressure appeared normal

This morning same thing happened but when cancelled oil pressure was still showing as 112psi let her idle for about five minutes but no change in pressure

Is thsi likely to be a dodgy sensor? how can I confirm this and is it safe to drive if the pressure is high Pinched the wifes car today just in case
