I see Maplin are selling a solar powered trickle charger which plugs into your cigarette lighter socket for just £9.99.

Can't comment as to whether it's any good but that's certainly a rock bottom price!

I suppose its cheap because they've got about 14,000 of them to get rid of ! I've never tried one of those chargers but then I've never needed to, might make a good Christmas present for someone I know though...
