kinda depends on which forecast you look at! Met-check (usually pretty accurate) says light rain and gale force winds. BBC say sunny intervals with moderate N Westerlies. It'll be whatever it'll be...
Anyway - I'll still be going (along with Mikey_P)so if you're there don't forget to say Hi.

Could be a bit of dejavu then. Last time we were at Snet in the 400 it was cold and raining and you were blasting around in that little white number (Prosport I believe as opposed to an SR3).

I would also love a pax ride in the SR3 if possible, love those cars but have never actually been in one.

Sorry you didn't make it down Conleth. Morning was pants; cold, wet, greasy and generally 'orrible, but then it dried up biggrin and much fun was had. Good to meet up with TonyF, son Si and girlfried (sorry didn't catch the name), and Mikey_p had a scorcher of pax ride with Tony in the Radical. Top day.

Hi Rob and Mikey,
Good to meet you both and im glad you enjoyed the pax ride mikey, was a shame conleth couldn"t make it, I was looking forward to seeing my old car. Hope everythings ok with the 400 conleth, rob said you had a small problem and required a part (which was understandably difficult to get on a sunday !)

hi guys, glad the day was good. the alternator belt held out for a blast this afternoon to make up for not being at snet. got a belt from halfords which was too long, now swapped for one that is tto short, so just as well i didn't try and come down as would be stuffed if it failed. 1700mm is the right one which i'll go looking for this week.

oh well, there's always next time

any more days planned soon?

cheers

If you get a part number for the belt and cost, put it in the parts section for us as I'm sure others will need one some day.

Sorry you didn't get to Snet.

I have a spare goodyear belt that came with the 3R part No 6PK1705, now i'm not gonna say its the one as it came with the car and could of been wrongly purchased but may be worthwhile trying this one next! Gaz

hi gaz
that sounds right. 6pk refers to 6 threads (?like corrugations) of belt width, and 1705 is length in mm. the one i took off was 1700mm
