Have been living with one half-broken keyfob since I got the car, and so went today to Carl at Car and Bike installations http://www.tvruk.tv/ , with a plan to get my meta system wiped and recoded with two new (later/better spec) fobs, and another immobiliser override stick thingy.
while there, had my starter circuit bypass the immobiliser, to try and isolate my starter problem cause (takes one more possibility out of the equation)
But the point of my post is to express my thanks and pleasure , dealing with a customer service focused company. Absolutely professional treatment from the time I arrived, both myself and my wife were kindly welcomed and treated, and a fair price charged.
I can't remember the last time I dealt with any company so expressly knowledgeable and forthright about the job they do, and heartily reccomend Carl.
I was struck by the amount of people phoning , caught out by their alarm/immobiliser systems, who could have prevented themselves ending up in an awkward situation by having their alarm/immobiliser system maintained (not living on one key/without immobiliser override stick/and other preventable situations), so don't say you haven't been warned, cerb owners! be prepared!
I have no affiliation whatsoever with Carl or his company, just so pleased to find such a good company/contact to have in the tvr world, that felt I had to share.

I suspect I was the person Carl was speaking to on Saturday.
The man himself then came to see me on Sunday and sorted my problems out there and then, at my house. As you say, an extremely knowledgeable and helpful guy with customer service 2nd to none. I mean, he gave up a Sunday morning for me! (Although to be fair I think his other choice was shopping
)Couldn't recommend him highly enough, top man!!
