For me the highlight's were

Watching the jet car disappear into the distance

The field of donuts, especially the drunken donuts and those sad FWD attempts

Fish actually staying upright on the scooter

Mrs CarZee for living it up with such passion

Gemini for using his magnetic personality to destroy mightydquinn's sound system

Gemini also for acting so innocent when confronted with allegations of snoring

Dexy for demonstrating how to eat Chinese takeaway without a plate

Mightydqinn for leaving his sunroof open so that we could dispose of the countless fliers and other rubbish placed under our windscreen wipers

Trying to sleep during the '3am party in the park' singsong

And who the hell was it revving the arse off that V8?

Learning for next time.
Don’t start drinking so early
Don’t bother with a tent, there’s no sleeping allowed
Remove windscreen wipers to confuse the traders
Stick a note on the dashboard that says ‘NO DONUTS’
Bring more money
More sun cream

I need some help with memories of how I got back to my tent on Saturday night.

I have no idea how I managed it.

Highlights:

*The trip there - nice to throw my car about
*Sneaking into the car enclosure because the guy on the gate "liked my style" and said it was so small it might as well go in there! (did have a car pass but I understand there was some sort of limited number allowed in?)
*Watching the drag racing and thinking how most of the cars on display at PF wouldnt have been embarissed
*Seeing all that odd machinary
*Watching Psychobert looking sheepish wearing a T-shirt saying "Psycho" amongst a group of big bald tattoo'd up men.
*Seeing the T440R
*Meeting Joolz and Corinne
*Corinnes Griffith! The sights sounds and feel of it all, lurverly!!!!!!!!!
*Taking them both for a drive in the smart (sorry about my driving!!)
*Hearing Psychoberts S and wondering how he got that out of a little ford engine!
*Seeing other PH'ers briefly, will talk more next time!
*Attempted Do-nuts in the Smart before we left

The whole event was superb fun - thank you Ted.

High/Low lights depending on your point of view,

Getting close enough to Iguana to be able to taste him, with only a flysheet for protection.

A somewhat bizarre episode of carefully coreographed dancing with GTIR.
Incorrigables modesty after playing so well with Gatso's (they were brilliant).

Flasher pulling out a MAP to examine the location of pistonfest. And then realising it was from before the M40 had been built.

And finally a big thank you to whoever you were 'singing' "porchia boxta!" into the early hors of the morning.

Final final thanks to those of you who looked after me - you know who you are!

Apart from the cars, the beer, the atmosphere, the people, the quite frankly scary US V8s, the beer, catching up with uni frineds I haven't seen for 10 years

Dancing with Mrs Zee on my shoulders Galstonbery stylee

Waking up knowing appologies were order to just about everyone in the field

Once more from the top...Porchsaa Boxtaaa

My PF memories

1) Sat in the back of a 456 down a single track b-road in convoy with a Chimera, 911 and Diablo
Cheers Jason!

2) Passenger ride in a Chimera to get rid of my TVR cherry!
Cheers Pete!

3) Meeting Ted, the man himself.

4) Ripping the exhaust off my car and it sounding a lot better

5) Someone asking my brother if the new engine note of the Fiesta was due to a highly tuned engine.

6) PistonLoo was the worst bog I have ever seen, :vomit, PistonPoo more like it!

7) Donuts, and expecially the Sunny GTiR spinning on the spot, top bloke! (cant remember your name!)

8) Fatboy pulling hanbrake turns and returning with one of his tyres making a funny hissing sound!

9) Physcoberts and Rudegirls "sound off", a delight for the ears!

10) Driving my car flat out for 60 miles in a convoy of high perfomance exotica, with me and Dave in his punto at the back, trying our best to keep up.

Top weekend, must do it again somtime

Cheers everyone

How many different cars did Stig attempt donuts in. 3? 4?

Kickmydog said:

Yep, not bad. We were camped very close to the donut area, which was either fun or scary depending on how competent / close to the tents people were.
