Lorry Crash on M1 - 28/6/03 6-7:30pm.

Saw a mangled lorry (foreign) on the M1 on Saturday. Between 6pm and 7:30pm IIRC. It was on the southbound carriageway.

Road was closed, Rozzers measuring up which is a bad sign.

Any of the Plod know if he lived?

I got caught in that jam, a bit earlier than you. There was an ambulance heading to the asccident, so maybe that's a good sign?

Maybe a check of the local traffic news would help?

@16 miles south of Milton Keynes.

It closed the motorway for some time. Appeared to be two lorries invloved, one foreign.

There was a lorry crash there yesterday 01/07/2003.

A lorry had overturned, and a police motorcycle was smashed up on the M1/M69 junction roundabout.

Not sure what happened, but there was police bikes everywhere.
