New Leven Wiper Arms/Blades

Just had my new arms and blades fitted, I'm glad to get rid of those nasty plastic tubes that have a habit of melting. Pics of before and after, I think they look better and certainly perform better.

However, fitting them highlighted a few issues:-

i) I shouldn't have bothered ordering new arms since exactly the same as the originals (unlike the Leven Chim system where the arms are different)

ii) It would appear most Speed Six cars don't have plastic covers on the offside wipers (Sags, Tamoras, T350s, my Tuscan convertible and a Mk1 Tuscan I looked at)...I thought it wasn't there because of the heat from the exhaust on the offside. But looking at Sags,Tams and T350s , it would foul on the bonnet...With a slight mod to the central bonnet support on a Tuscan the covers fit a treat, and now looks finished.

iii) Needed jointing peice to connect washer tubes together

Overall pleased , the offside still doesn't hug the windscreen, but with the curvature it would be very difficult.
Price £26.50 for the blades (which provides the spray head) and £25.12 for the arms (which you don't need unless yours are knackered)

I was going to get these as I have had several melted plastic pipes. However, we have now decided to do away with pipes altogether and fit a conventional centrally mounted twin spray jet. has anyone else tried this?
