Hello Folks -

I've got the G20 back from the shop ($2K later... don't get me started!). It's fitted with the "standard" split spoke alloys that I see in a lot of pictures, but these are shod with street legal, but race rubber. I'd like to keep these as Gymkhana and/or track day tires so I was thinking of another road set of wheels and tires. Can anyone help me with the bolt pattern sizing and offset numbers so as to be able to order up a new set of rims?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks James -

Do you or anyone else know what the width of the original Redline Split Spoke Wheels are? Are they 6", 6.5", or 7"?

Cheers,

Aaron

Take a look at the back of the spokes or centre hub - wheel width and offset are usually cast or stamped there.

7" Thanks!

Last question on this front... Anyone know how much of a wheel et offset we can get away with on the cars, especially up front?

Thanks again!

ET30 is your limit., although i'm not sure if that is for a 7" wheel.... Best bet is be nice to your local wheel shop, take the car down and try some on.
The offset should be stamped on the wheel? If they are factory wheels they will be et30 or et32.

Thanks -

Yeah, they are et32. They are the RaceLine wheels.

They are currently shod with racing rubber and instead of doing the rip on and off I'm going to get a second set of rims with street tires. et30 is the max OUT, how about the other direction? Any thoughts?

Thanks again,

Aaron

Et 35 the otherway, but front end feels a bit light from my experience. I ahd et35 wheels supplied incorrectly when i specified et30. Took me a while to work it out.

I got new wheels and tires from www.streetdreams.org last November. They were very good about calling Motoamerica to get the right hub size for the hubcentric adapters. New wheels and tires including delivery only cost a little under $800! Good guys, I'd recommend using them in the future for any (of the few) US Ginetta owners.
