Hi all, Just joined. Bought Jag XJ8 4 litre 1998 80000M. In May this year. Came with full documented service hitory and full years M.O.T. Spent awhile looking chose this one on basis of prev. owner waxing lyrical about all tests done to ensure no "Nikasil" problems. Since purchase car has consumed oil at rate of 7/8 litres per 1000 miles!{Done up like a kipper!}Have any of you used "Ametech" with any success? Know its been classed as "Snake oil" by many forum members. just like to Know if anybody had any joy with it? Look forward to any comments and ta, in advance. Tony.
