went out in nottingham last night and some silly chav/crack head broke into my car, my shat nav and stereo were in the locked glove box, but they took my shat nav, but left the stereo on the floor, on inspection this morning the have also taken my 2 small tool kits (cheap kits, but thats not the point) out of the boot but left my sub and amp which cost circa £250. what f

Hard luck mate.
It's easy to sit here and spout about the glove box (unlocked - easy to open and look. Locked - must be something in there), but I wont. I remember my car being broke into at the Showcase. Lovely car, decent stereo, removable. But I didn't bother. Scrote broke in the passenger window, cut himself on the glass (blood on the leather), used a screwdriver to lever off the radio facia (where a simple 'press of the release button' would do) that promptly flew across the car and under the driver's seat, so he left with nothing.

Thanks guys, yes i went to the city nick, as i was parked less than 500yrds from it, reported it but they just said oh well, some one will ring you tomorrow well its now been 23hrs and no phone call!! f crap government ran un-organisation! and thats comming from a BiB's son! going to ring the scrappys tomorrow to see if a can get a dooror window as insurance want £60!

Where abouts in Nottingham did it happen?
I always leave my glove box open (as i'd heard that its a sign to the scrotes that they have nothing to steal)

Peachy street, at the junction with n sherwood street and m'field rd turn left and then do a left at the voluntry center i was 8-10ft from the main rd, about 8 other cars parked and none of them had been touched!! i still p155ed off now cant let it go, some chavs walked pass me out side the office i nearly went for them in my anger, but im now shackled to my desk!! i dont get angry v often but this is jus doin my nut in!! ARRRRRRHHHHH!!!

I know Peachy Street. I used to wait there when my ex would nip over to John Lewis. It can be a bit rough and tight down that pudding bag. I'm almost positive that the police park at the bottom, behind the gate.d1bble said:
