1-0 to the brick.

Is there a record for Cerbera sumps broken ? As this is my second.

The last one, was me driving over one of those security bollards.

7.30 on Saturday morning, bit of rain, overtaking another car at about 40 on a dual carriadgeway, and I thought "what's that in the road". I couldn't brake quick enough and couldn't swerve beacause of the car on my near side.

That car doesn't want to leave me. Someone was coming to see her on Saturday, and I reckon this is her way of punishing me.

I managed to make the local news aswell, because of the oil slick paperbag

The AA recovered it to TVR Power over in Coventry, and they were closed, so an hour & half later, the f***ing thing turned up at my works. I could swear it was smiling at me.

Bad luck ther fellah.

I shall be keeping a close eye on your car. My car is at Power and is doing what can be best likened to when you have one of those invisible moments standing at the bar waiting to buy a drink but don't have a twenty to wave about.hehe

hehe

I couldn't get my head under to have a look, but judging by the speed the oil came out, it's definitely sump related.

I just hope Douglas Valley have got another one in stock.

The AA have picked it up (again) so it should be arriving at Power any minute now.

If that engine's coming out again, It'll give me an excuse to get the top end rebuilt.

What's yours in for ?

Blimey, that doesn't sound cheap smile

I've had it confirmed that my modification of "forced air induction via a 4" hole in the sump", isn't going to add any extra power.

Ho hum.

The air con stopped working on Friday, and the gentleman coming to see it, had specifically asked me the week before if it worked. I think I'm stuck with that car for life.

I'm not a superstitious person, but after 1 car jacking at gun point, two sumps, two clutches, one head gasket, two separate vehicles running in to the back of it, and another few grand to boot, I'm starting to have my concerns about that "666" plate that's on it evil

russ, if you need your aircon sorting take it to motorclimate (or similar name, can dig out the details for you if you like..) Its near where you got car-jacked but the actual aircon specialists are Cerbera friendly, they've had ours in a few times!

What BCA says Russ

Excellent service, right by the Blues ground. Very Cerb friendly as well, they even use wing protectors. £47 for system clean and regas with oil.

Simon
