Can somone help my last post regarded the fact that my 92 se broke down whith a broken crank sensor ,ifitted a new one the car now runs but wont rev up , and i had no fault codes present - now in fact i do have a code 44 present do you think this is related or shall i replace the 02 sensor and hope for the best the car smells rich as hell . Is there a tdc refrence mark on the flywheel or are there only 4 equidistant slots for each cyl . I have measured voltage to the ecu which is 5 volta (green plug j11) and over 0 volts cranking which means the sensor is giving the corect info all i can think of is a faulty ecu . if so does anyone have a gm part no (corvette?) Im in south Africa Here in SA i am quoted R19000 divide by 13 if in the uk or 8 inthe USA i have purchases many for corvettes at $95. please im desperate someone must have a clue

The GM ECM part number is 01228708, but you must reinstall the memcal from your original ECM into the new one. Best of luck!
