That would have been me then on the way back from MPH at the NEC.
When you overtook for the first time (it was dark) My son said "what the hell was that" - sounded awesome. I replied "I think it might have been a Monaro" (because of the rear lights). When I saw the flames coming out of the twin exhausts as you pulled over as caught up a bit I was sure !!!
Is that the wortec exhaust on loud your running??

Top man!!! Certainly made the usual hum drum of the A42 a little more interesting! It's a Milltek system with different headers and the cats are out (oh, and a Magnacharger nestling under the bonnet)!!!

Have to say yours sounded great as you knocked it down a cog and shot off!!!! Niiiice!

I was impressed with the flames/flash from the exhausts.
I really want to know if mine does that.....it does back fire quite a lot when you take the power off at high revs - will that surfice???

I'm also "catless" with headers, cams and a blower (12psi)

Maybe not but what a car, you must be one very happy owner?

What sort of 'de-tuned' power is is operating at in your hands?

NB I know Kevin had it past 700 bhp!!!

Its about 600bhp, I don't think its been any higher than that.
It is an awesome vehicle, but still drives like a normal car when needed in traffic etc.
The clutch took a bit of getting used too......

The car is still pretty much as when I got it of Kevin. I've had the road response kit put on - my cambers were all adrift. I want to do something to get the intake air temp down in traffic (should never had the scan guages fitted, ignorance was bliss) - I may have the wortec cold air induction kit fitted, and/or some ventilation added to the bonnet ??? I waiting to see what Roger does with Harry's car.......

otrcai if you've got space under the bonnet to maximise air intake and cool the temperatures, the standard intake at the side of the headlight isn't the most efficient route for the air to get into the car. Plastic over aluminium to avoid some of the heat soak.
