Hey all...

Sadly, from this evening it would appear that my dad (who i'm sure you will all know) has had his membership cancelled and removed due to 'an innapropiate and offensive' name by a moderator....

He's been a member for years (about 6 years i think!)

Is this normal? Political correctness gone mad!!!

It might be best for your dad to fight his own battles, rather than you drag them up unnecessarily on PH.

It appears that it was just a bit over over-eager moderating.

As you can imagine, there are a LOT of posters on PH these days and the mods sometimes stray from their familiar territory and so mistakes get made. Unfortunately I wasn't around to 'manage' the misunderstanding.

Whilst Paul's nick isn't the most savoury, it's been like that forever and as such, will stay that way

Yep im back! Was bounced because of my naughty name, thought it was GTRWayne getting upset because I keep telling him is car is the wrong colour, but no it was a TVR driver who thought my id would upset all the young children who visit this site (!?) but all seems ok now.

Getting the website name changed to

www.thatblokewhowasformallyknownasSHFbutgotbounced...

as suggested, the website stickers on the back of the ultima now start on the nearside, go around the back and finish on the right hand door.
