Just SORN'd my F430 for the winter with the plan of getting another in the Spring. Thought occured that there might be other options so - assuming bunging in a few quid extra to make it a nice round £150k - what Ferrari/Ferraris would you guys go for for that fig? Bear in mind that at least a couple 2-3,000 mile Euro juants have to be completed, hassle and worry free, during the year.

Not vital by any means but would be nice. Don't like 430 spider that much btw.

Definitely go for a 599 Pugsey- check out the 'a day in the life of a Ferrari 599' on autocar with Chris Harris just to whet the appetite:

http://www.autocar.co.uk/VideosWallpapers/Videos.a...

link from there I think. Love the bit where he comes out in the morning and has a walk around it before getting in.

Would look to pay less than that if possible, especially this time of year. The 550 Barchetta has sat at circa £100k for the last 18 months, so SA should hold it's value reasonably well too.

Thanks guys. Tempted by the dark side. I actively don't like the 430 Spider and think the G.Spyder is much better resolved looks wise. However I find the Lambo a bit to 'Audi' inside for my taste. Currently leaning towards newer 430 in spring or a Superamerica - going to have a mooch round one today in fact. Would love to go for something older like the beautiful beasty mentioned by C of N but not sure that would give me totally stress/trouble free motoring on long Euro trips? Think hoping for a 599 at £150k next spring is just a shade hopefull maybe! Going to have a good drive in a G. too - after all driving is what it's all about. Of course if some bugger would come up with a date for my Scud. none of this agonising would be necessary.frown
