Audi dealers...Who are any good?
Discussion
I'm sure there are some but I think that the general consensus is that a good independent is a much better bet. My local Audi Dealership asked me if my S3 was diesel!
I recommend these guys:

Colbornes are good, not sure if they are in your area though.
Listers come recommended as well, I'm sure there is a thread running on this on rs246.com.
arggh... there you go

Yes, yes, name & Shame, etc, etc...
So which ones are actually worthwhile dealing with? Ive seen a few comments regarding Maidstone Audi not being esp brilliant. What about the rest?
That seems like a comedown from the guy who posted that he had asked for the order forms for the 997 GT2, and who boasted about how any idiot could make money trading. Seems maybe you got a bit ahead of yourself. So which ones are actually worthwhile dealing with? Ive seen a few comments regarding Maidstone Audi not being esp brilliant. What about the rest?
Anyway, Bexley Audi were very good with me, and Docklands Audi were very bad.
Here's hoping your reversal of fortune does not last.

The "reversal of fortune" as you call it...is called getting married. One's wife isnt into cars and regards blowing shedloads of cash on them as unacceptable. She also objects to the 'grale as a "chav car" and whilst that may well be heresy to red blooded car chaps, the good will of my wife comes higher. Wife comes higher than cars and ego every time, simple as really.
Another vote for Stockport Audi. Bought 3 cars in a row from them, both sales manager and salesman were fantastic and service is always good especially on S and RS models. when some silly bint took my bumper off in London they sent a low loaded all the way down to take it back to Manchester to their proper Bodyshop rather than let the monkeyshed Docklands Audi wreck it.
I would recommend my local dealer, the salesman there is first class, unfortunately 2 of his colleagues are the rudest most obnoxious laziest arrogant t
ts i have ever met in the car industry so the dealership doesnt deserve any more business until the pair of them get fired.

Where would that be, then? Just so I know where to avoid in future...... I'm assuming it is around the Greater Manchester area?I would recommend my local dealer, the salesman there is first class, unfortunately 2 of his colleagues are the rudest most obnoxious laziest arrogant t

So are you still getting an 8C, then? Its also funny, although that was only the summer and I was engaged not married then, but we were and had been living together for 2 years or so, I felt very differently about cars and spending money on them than I do now. Ive only been married 2 months and yet I do have very much a different attitude, despite the fact that really very little has changed...just the little ring and legal status.
