I want to change the front pads on a Honda Scooter, and would like to try and do it myself; anyone changed their own bike/scooter pads?. what are the pitfalls?

as long as you clean the pistons (WD40 soaked cloth or proper brake cleaner) before pushing back into the caliper you'll be fine. if you dont clean them the dirt can ruin the seals/jam the caliper.
