There may be a few disapointed people when they get home!!! I wanted the MG Metro turbo Group A car. It was worth only £2500 as it was in very poor condition. It went for £7000 plus buyers premium. Peter Card as always was great entertainment.

I went to look around on Saturday. I was interested in the TR8 and the MGB V8, neither of which were absolute minters by the way, and left some instructions with my brother who was going to the sale on Sunday for how much to pay. I couldn't believe the prices of them when he rang me on Sunday evening £9,600 for the TR and £9,000 for the MG - before the 15% + VAT buying fee! Absolute madness. Needless to say I don't own either of them!

Total maddness!!! the Triumph saloon V8 with no glass and total rust bucket!

£3000 at the hammer before 15% buyers premium and VAT.
