my first thought it it seems cheap considering its had a respray, i "proper" paint job would have cost all 30% of the sale price

then theres obviously the reasons for the respray....

guy said he did it himself and is the trade? hence my suspicions but could be a decent car just sounded a bit odd.

Could be someone who buys slightly damaged cars and fixes them up?
I just think anytime any car has a full respray there is a problem, I am sorry to say, just can't help but think negatively..

Don't get hung up on this, just take it to a TVR specialist and have it checked over (about £50 tops)

If it turns out to be a good un, buy the thing after knocking him down a bit more.
