Saturday Rumbles

For those arriving early for GotG, we are laying on two Saturday Rumbles.

All Tivs are welcome!

Exmoor Rumble
Starting at Crossways Hotel, 10am Saturday.
Returning late afternoon/early evening.
This is being aimed at people arriving on Friday night, but all are welcome.
I'm afraid I'll be leading this one, so don't expect to hear much of your own exhaust note

The Northern Route
Meet in the layby just South of M4, J18 (Bath).
Start Time mid-day-ish, exact time posted here ASAP!
Ending up at Crossways Hotel late afternoon/ early evening. This is being aimed at the 'overnighters' arriving down the M4 corridor and allows them to take in a hefty chunk of scenery en route to the Saturday Social.
The route is essentially that being used on Sunday for those starting from the Golden Heart and will be led by Dan and Clare.

I think, if we say midday (high noon!) sharp is as good'a time as any.

There is a carpark on the right as you head south (towards bath). I will be waiting in the entrance. I'll be in the (hard to spot) YELLOW Griff.

I'm trying to get a convoy down to the start sorted, so any chance we could start the Northern route later?

How much later do you think you will be Steve? The Route i have planned does a loop around Castle Combe and the A420 so will be at the Junction of the A46 and A420 at about 12:45-13:00.

We may also be stopping for scran. There are a number of possible places for that so we may be able to meet you there.

Autoroute reckons I will be there 11:45 given the route and start time from Poole. I don't know whether Kev will be along as well but i intend to be there. If I am not there what route are you taking to Wootton ?
