That's what i call a proper paint job....stripped of all bits!! Chralie if you don't mind me asking what does it cost to have a car resprayed to that standard. Did you strip the car yourself before sending all the bits to the paintshop?? If there are any dents or imperfections in the metalwork do they sort those out as well so before spraying so the body is perfect??

Charlie - looking good!

I'd suggest having a look at v-mount configurations though if you're looking to track it hard. It'll help keep your temps under control far better than front-mount.

Been somewhat guided by the available equipment, so its going front mount for the moment, might change depending on how it goes.

As for cost, I have not dared add it up....

Most of the money was the prep work, the car was stripped before it went to the painshop, but had lots of dents in it. Its also had a new roof due to the cage and sunroof not being happy together, that needed alot of sorting out at the joins.

The finish on some of the other panels is not at the moment to my satisfaction, however i have been promised it will be sorted out when the car is back together.
