The DeR / Russel Brand one.

Did someone ask that thread to be closed?

Probably not. I rarely understand the moddery that goes on around here.

Ecks, whilst you were undoubtedly taking a knock in the thread, I would hope and think that you would have some inkling of that happening once your opinion was thrown into the lions den that is PH.

Oh absolutely, and it doesn't bother me at all. I was amazed, though, that people could get so worked up over the opinion of someone they've never even met.

When do new mods get voted in, will it be like strictly come ballroom or celebrity in the Jungle but with a fixed voting?

I'd like to see Ecks & Streethawk face each other a virtual dance-off finalé

I thought it could have been quite an interesting thread. Der can take care of himself - he's hardly a lost lamb. His posts are quite fascinating, flying right in the face of prevailing opinion that in order to get a message across you have to distill it down to a list of idiot-proof bullet points.

Rofl.

Got a mental image of two screwfaces staring each other down whilst doing an angry riverdance.

As long as people don't descend into insult then they might be OK...? Not that I pretend to understand the mod thinking behind thread closure/deletion.

I'd imagine they had to go and do a two hour stint down at the gas chamber so they closed the thread so they didn't have to come back to any trouble.

Not that difficult to understand the basics of moderating is it.

Oh yeah. There is that sexual frisson.

Hope it doesn't get too brutal.

I'm quoting this. I simply can't believe that someone can be quite so utterly moronic. You really do have an anti-moderator chip on your shoulder that is, frankly, comical.

Having spent time on quite a few forums, I'd say the quality of the moderating on here is second to none.

If only they'd sort the bleeding servers out!
