Come and enjoy a drink at the famous Brands Hatch circuit with the company of Lotus enthusiasts:

Ex-F1 Q&A
We welcome Martin Donnelly the Ex-Lotus F1 driver to share some banter from his time at Lotus and in F3 & F3000 before. He's got some great stories to share coming from his early days in FFord right up to the pinnacle of his career in the Elise Trophy biggrin.

••We will also be playing the premier of the Donington Park round of the Elise Trophy before it airs on Motors TV••

£5 Curry Night
It also 'Curry Night'* at Brands - a curry, rice and naan all for a fiver, perfect on a cold night.
  • alternatives available for those with a sensitive palate.
The meet is held in the Kentagon restaurant which is situated inside Brands Hatch at the top of the world famous Paddock Hill bend.

Parking is unlimited and totally secure as it's inside the circuit. Brands Hatch is just a few mins from junction 3 of the M25 or the M20.

Arrive from 7.00pm onwards - we'll get Martin underway for around 8.00pm and we'll finish by 11pm. Please use the main entrance to Brands Hatch off the A20 and mention the Lotus meet you will then drive into the circuit and come to a car park area which is at the back of the shops and hospitality suite - PLEASE observe the 10 MPH speed limit

This event is free for all to attend - you just pay for your meal and drinks. If you intend to come, and all are welcome, sign up to the event on SELOC here: http://forums.seloc.org/showevent.php?eid=1521 or if you are not a member, PM me with your choice of curry or alternative and I'll add you to the event - this will help us gauge numbers for food

Kevin, I think you're an Elise man right? Martin came to 2006's Elise Garden Party and entertained us with sme unrepeatable anecdotes about his time in F1 and more...plus graphic detail on his accident. Absolutely top bloke yes

Michael Hipperson (EGP organiser) introduced me to Martin at Brands earlier this year and I was drinking in the same bar at Spa with the Elise Trophy drivers. A real character, and as a fan of personalities in racing, I was pleased to see he's every bit as Perry McCarthy tells it in Flat Out Flat Broke

It will be smile Feel free to come along, although it's officially a Lotus meet, we felt this one would be far too good to keep to ourselves biggrin
