Bit slippery out there though. We've got to that time of year when the roads are slimey and you need to wait until March to plant the throttle and hold it all the way to the red light.

yeah greasy sometimes. I find best day to go out is a sunny day after a hard frost, because all the roads will have been salted so the next day they are bone dry and nice cold air temps.

slippery would be a massive understatement. Its completely insane on the roads this time of year! Country lanes really turn into death traps. Even in a straight line, on a wide main road my slides with back end twitching loads the min it gets cold and damp

You chaps could always try driving to the conditions. You'd have no problems with any roads being death traps or cars sliding around.

I'd have to agree. Too many modern cars have far too much grip, which only disappears in the worst conditions then everyone grinds to a halt or falls off.

IMO best, and most fun, to carefully find the limits in all conditions and what warning signals the particular car gives you, then can have fun and stay safe.

My T350 was outstanding fun in snow last year, whereas my earlier TVRs were... er ...tricky. biggrin

I agree, it is just a pity we can't enjoy them to their full potential all year round. Deep standing water is the only thing I dread when out in the T350.
