i am saving for a 400/450se as it was the first tvr i fell in love with but when the cerbie came out i fell in love with that as well. has anybody gone from wedge to cerb, wish you had done it earlier? only asking the question because the price of cerbies seem to have fallen a lot

I went 400se>Chimaera>Cerbera and the order i prefer is Cerbera>400se>Chimaera, the scuttle shake on the Wedge is infuriating though, is in the steering wheel shakes about over bumps, but they are a laugh, but 300bhp if you are lucky. Cerbera is alot newer car and it feels it.

I went 350i> Griffith 4.3> Cerbera 4.5. And the order I prefer is Cerbera 4.5> Pagani Zonda F> Bugatti Veyron. wink

Get a Cerbera, theres really no contest.

Get a Cerb, they are an absolute performance bargain at the moment!

Hi,

I was lucky enough to have both a 400SE and a cerb for a year or two. the cars are hugely different and each special in their own way. if you can get hold of somone who keeps old copies of sprint i wrote an article in probably late 2003/early 2004 comparing the 2 cars which you might find useful.

Once i bought the cerb i almost stopped using the 400SE so after 18 months or so i sold it - and that was a huge mistake. it was a great car and relatively cheap to run. i wish i had kept it. But buy a cerb anyway they are awesome-when i drive mine i cant stop grinning

It's probably fair to say that unless your a spanner man yourself - if you THINK you can't afford it, you almost certainly can't. While we all know someone who hasn't had the big bills, you'd be gutted to buy the car and then lay it up because you couldn't afford to fix it - or worse get it bodged...

..that said, shout Buy one, there is nothing else like it! hehe

I went from a tuned up 350i to a cerb and the cerb is a much easier car to drive, much more modern , stiffer construction and generally feels comfortable and is an excellent GT.

However I've since gone to a griff 4.3 (which OK I needed to raise some cash at the time) but also the cerb doesn't 'feel' fast until you're into 3 figures.

Yes a better car but not as much fun, also unless you do all the work yourself (I did) you will have some big bills even then parts ain't cheap!
