I have`t been out for a couple of weeks since it has been serviced and MOT`d. Today was reasonable so time for a quick blast, but I had not barginned for the TVR element kicking in irked. It was not running on all cylinders firstly which after a distance up the road cured itself (maybe damp) then I realised the interior light is not working. Changed the bulb, still no go confused. It is now time to test the Relay which is tomorrows task. Wether it is the interior light but the alarm is now playing up!!! eek. One problem at a time, it does go to show that regular use is required for these cars. The wife just stated that I had bought it because it was not a plain every time the same car!!! yes , how true. I wondered if this was a similar occurance with other owners.

This might help -

Also found that although the bulb looked fine I had to get a bit of emery cloth on it and give it a clean up for it to work. Simple I know but it didn't actually look corroded or anything.

My interior light plays up gently move the conduit and wire where it disappears into the rear hood at the passenger seat area. Seen someone else quote this before as well.

Something that may be common to the interior lamp and the alarm is the door switch.

Update on the interior light, put the relay back in, pulled a few fuses and behold it suddenly works eek. Typical as I said before, can only happen in a TVR. confused
