Hi Chaps, The poly windows panels in my Taz are showing signs of distress and could do with replacing. I came across this stuff on the interweb http://www.theplasticshop.co.uk/erol.html#2140X0 and wondered if any of you have used it before.
Its very expensive at £564.69 (6mm thick) and only comes in 3000 x 2000 sheets. I would only need half that to do what I need to do, so would anybody be interested in going halves?

Lexan Marguard is the stuff to use, particularly for windscreens. Uncoated oly carb is much cheaper but scratches very easily - even wiping it with a soft cloth leaves scratches.
Check the phone book/Google for local plastics suppliers/glaziers - I found one in Reading who cut me a sheet of Marguard just large enough to make a windscreen for less than £100

Check before fitting this stuff. I think it is not permissable to do whole car with it, its unbreakable and marshalls cant get you out in accident. You can get another grade which is flowcoated to make it virtually unscratchable for the screen, sTeVeR
Just as well the rest of the fibreglass around the windows will have shattered then
