E Class phone cradle removal

I have to remove and replace a factory fitted phone cradle from the centre armrest of a 2005 E Class and was wondering if anyone knew the correct proceedure to unplug and remove it ??

There is usually a small button at the front - press this down and slide the cradle forwards....
