He may have a flat battery ?
Doors and windows will not open without elctrical power.

Flat battery from cranking the car over. Battery dies. I can't get out. Ring the AA. Try to explain where I am, don't know - so get out of the car (leaving keys and house keys in ignition) and walk to the end of the road to find the road sign. Obviously door shuts. Immobilises itself (somehow). I am left buggered.
AA come out. Don't know how to get in. Then someone from the AA rings back with the way to get in. We try that but still can't get in - I think that there is a different way therefore.

HELP someone!!!??

I'll leave this until midnight and then I'll delete.

It is only making it the same as having a charged battery on there, might help someone else out one day?

Sorry guys, we gave up and went to bed. I'm up now and still in the same situation. Any ideas and I'll get the AA out again to try another method.
Very annoyed now, didn't sleep worrying about it...
