Thruxton - Driving Experience Day

I went on a driving experience day at Thruxton at the weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I drove a Porsche Cayman, Porsche 997 Turbo and Formula Renault.
The Cayman was a surprise - much better than I had anticipated - Very easy to drive fast.
The 997 Turbo was an absolute beast - no matter what gear you are in, it just pulls!! A real eye-opener.
The Formula Renault... Well, that was just amazing. I have only ever been in a proper single-seater once before (a Formula Ford), and the experience is just amazing. You become one with the car, every little input is immediately felt... If you ever get the chance, I can highly recommend you give it a try.
... All this has just hightened my appetite to get on track far more often!!
P.S. I found all the staff at Thruxton to be extremely polite and the whole outfit was very well organised.
