Which oil now? ......Please?

Hi chaps. just done about 1200 miles after rebuild, which oilk should i go for now or can i go straight onto my 5w 50 mobils' finest please?

I think most of us in love with Mobil 1, are specific about the 15-50W variety Some of the other guys (& Opie seemed to promote it IIRC) use the Silkolene? as a similar spec alternative although I have no personal experience of that one..

I've started using Castrol 10/60 fully synthetic. I previously used Mobil One.

Mobil 1 Motorsport (15-40 I think?) has worked a treat for me even at very high temps throughout the summer months.

0-50 was OK until a sprint or track day in the summer, seriously low oil pressure and major oil surge. Baffled sump and oil cooler recommended if using this oil for anything more than road work.
