As the new Cerb Editor I want to put in some articles that people want to read.

Any Suggestions?

If you don't want to post, but still want an input please email me. cerbera.editor@googlemail.com

Cheers,

Iain

Hum, quick braindump

Trackdays - a novice's guide. Why or if to do them, what to expect, how to prepare the car, airfield or circuits. how to drive so you drive home smile Trackday insurance ideas plus a list of possible contacts.

A series of articles (maybe small articles) of common faults and their cures.

Upgrades - suspension, lights, ecu's, engines, wheels, tyres, exhausts etc.

Servicing - how to do various tasks

Would like to see write ups of members cars, along with the history of ownership and work done on the car.Does not neccessarily have to be Cerbs.A few more in depth technical items would be useful too.

I would find a series of articles on a cerb restoration useful - from someone who has taken one to bits, restored the chassis and put the car back together again. A few people have done these now and if anyone is prepred to share their expeience (and photos) it would be beneficial to everyone.

Naked Cerb Calendar Boyz.
TC, Fubes, Phil, SXS, Trackcar, Andy at APM etc...
All in provocative steamy shots with only a piece of Cerb hiding their blushes.
SXS - the air con button
Phil - a couple of headrests
Fubes and TC (double page spread) - clutching a wheel each covered in whipped cream
etc...

With respect, yuckhehe

I'd like to see some sort of roadtest article where three or four cars and drivers go on a hoon and compare notes in the pub afterwards to see how each models compares, which mods help, hinder etc...

Technical articles, both on the 'masterclass' level
- engine setup
- suspension setup,
- tuning

as well as on the 'owner/maintainer' level
- "I fixed my door buttons by..." or
- "the best way to get the console out is..."

Tips on preventative maintenance.

Write ups on unusual cars, and projects.

Cerb owners guide to track days, speed trials, starting racing etc

As part of the Sprint Overhaul, all models will get their own editor with a bit of luck. At the moment I think that I will be very lucky to get something in every month. Realistically it will be every 2 or 3 issues. Depends on what it submitted by me and the other editors. But anything more than what we have got for Cerb's will be progress.
