Im having a spot of bother with a bmw 535i the engine is making a tapping noise on start up which may be the hydrolic tappets and low oil pressure also the guy needs to convert it to gas and were the hell is the link up to the ECU, and the 3rd thing is the engine vibrates when the fan locks in the water pump and the fan hub have been changed what else can cause this any help would be graet

The noise is probably your Vanos, a fairly common fault I think. Try an oil change.
