was in southwold at the weekend(very overated place)saw my very 1st slr being driven along the sea front-sounded fantastic...but apart from 2 of my friends not 1 person gave it a second look..£300k and it was as bland as a corolla-gotta say it didnt look much different to a regular sl amg.

I think that SLR may have been my friends uncle, he works for McLaren, so it's the company pool car cloud9 oh to have access to such exotica (they have Fezzas too which is quite odd considering the rivalry between the two companies)

They do sound awesome though.

PS I like Southwold, but a lot of the people who live there really do think they're a class above everyone else.

never been to Southwold, but they give us Adnams so it can't be that bad a place! biggrin

IMO the SLR has great presence,

For most owners, probably the glovebox!

It's meant to be mounted on the n/s front bumper for UK registered SLR's. The mounting does spoil the grogeous lines though! frown
