Forecast doesn't look that bad, overcast and a few showers tomorrow by the looks.

Not wet enough to force me into the Suprabarge anyway so I'll be driving the Striker there and back smile

Good choice I think, that'd have been a bit exciting first thing! Saw the Brera, I should have popped over to say hi really.

Was a great day though smile

What a great circuit, really enjoyed the day, i did look out for you, i apologise, i missed you.

Brera was very slow ( as predicted ), it's a chronic road car, why on earth i thought it would be any use round a track is anyones guess rolleyes

We really enjoyed Anglesey though, can't wait to go back in the summer in the TVR, there's even some tunnels to go through to get there biggrin

Did you see the M3 hit the pit lane wall, it happened as i was stood on the pit wall right under me, very scary indeed!!!

It is a great circuit isn't it? Saturday was my second day there (out of 4 trackdays total now!), first was back in June when it had only just opened... The car had only been on the road 2 weeks at that point and so then I was taking it pretty easy and making sure no bits had dropped off most of the time smile

I was just coming out of the second half of Rocket (sharp left right at the top of the hill) when the red flags came out for the M3, it did look an awful mess as I came back into the pits though. Some friends had just turned round to come off the pitwall when it hit and got showered in broken glass from the rear window.

I'll be racing sunday (well the team I'm part of will), in FF1600. I don't think I'll be there for testing saturday, might get there saturday evening if we practice early sunday.

I must have been stood right next to you when it happened - we got showered in glass from his back window

Hi,

The driver of the M3 was my best friend Mark. He hurt his shoulder, and his passenger has whiplash, but the main pain is in his wallet! He had only owned his M3 Evo for a number of weeks (you may have seen it on our MPH NEC stand - covered in camera mounts), and didn't have track insurance.

He was using our filming equipment in and on the car so have some good (bad) footage. Once we have finished the editing in a few days time (when I have a spare 5 mins) I'll post it up here.

Cheers, Dave, Fast Films

Wow, send them my regards!

The M3 brigade ( racingdistrict??? ) certainly provided some entertaining driving on the day, especially those csl's.
