ferrari extended warranty
Discussion
Im thinking of buying a 360 budget around 60k so probably an 01/02 car.
Am i right in thinking you can extend the warranty for 8 years after 1st registration.
If so what are the annual costs and do you guys know what it covers.
Coming from tvrs - currently have a sagaris, ive always looked for tvrs with low mileages, so how would say a 360 with say 12k miles compare to buying one with low to mid 20s.
Also any colour combos that are good or not when it comes to resale
Thanks

I believe ferrari are still having problems with the FSA and don't sell the extended warranties currently, so if the car doesn't already have it you would have to go to a 3rd party warranty company - not worth the effort IMO.
Buy on condition, not miles - I bought a 21k miler after looking at a 13k miler which was a dog in comparison - the 360 is relatively bulletproof and I believe it will become the first ferrari where high mileages (60k+) become commonplace.
Colours - if its rosso corsa on the outside it'll sell, interior - crema is nice but I feel black ages/wears better - I'd avoid tan/savannah but thats just my opinion.

Think the Ferrari used car warranty is being revised at present. If you are going to buy from a garage they will warrant the car for you if not Power warranty something similar would have thought for 12 months. Then after 12 months you may be able to extend this time at your own expense. My last 2 Ferrari once out of initial warranty have not bothered.
Do not get put off by people telling you engines gearboxes etc are 10s of thousands (who do you know that has had to buy a complete new engine) and as for body work well if it is damaged hopefully the person that hit you will be insured.
Lots of 360 to choose from, choose wisely and enjoy
