Any recommendations for a builder/plumber/tiler type builder who can do a complete stripout and re-do my bathroom please. Job includes hack off old plaster replaster as well.Need somebody any time soon. Tamuchly

We had 6 or 7 around

We accepted a written quote and he was supposed to start in June 2006

I ended up DIY - New floor, rad, shower, bath, loo, basin, skirting, tiles. Only thing I didn't do was plaster

If you want to borrow some specialist tools - more than happy to help

Cuneus, you have made a bloody good job , looks superb

From my experience I would get different people to do each trade.

-Get a general handy man to do the striping out and prep work
-A plumber to do the plumbing
-A plaster for the plastering and
-A tiler for the tiling

Otherwise you will be paying someone to do the strping out at a plumbers rate etc. It's also very rare for one guy to be good at all of the jobs. I now a tiler that can plaster and a plumber that can tile but no-one that can do all of it well.

Might take a bit longer but the end result will be better.

Nice bathroom that,better not let my Wife see it or may give her ideas but I do need to find somebody or a Company that will do the lot in one bish bash bosh and out. Live near to Norwich (Diss area) so keep up the recommendations please.
