TD, in your panning shots, how do you manage to get one end of the car to be much more blurry than the other?
Nice shots btw.

Widish angle (those would have been around 30-40mm) and slow shutter speed (1/13-1/30) and when you pan focus on one point of the car.

Love the static shots on the concrete; it's a superb location for those cars yes (where is it a brunters, I can't picture it?)

How did you get so high? That looks much higher than just a step ladder?!

Tony, Steve uses the steps leading up to the Boeing 747 someone carelessly left on the outfield. He's a tall chap, but not that tall!

One day I expect to find him on one of those driven stair cases you see at airports... hehe

I'm a big fan of the Aston and the Z4 shots. I think you're compressing these a bit too much though and the compression artefacts make these look a bit noisy.

I recall you saying you wield d200 these days so I wouldn't expect noise to be noticable at all, hence the compression comment.

Agreed, some are a little flat too. Do you shoot jpeg Steve?

Really like the panned CGT shot smile

Love these shots and the slow pans. Any reason why you tended towards the rear of the car for the (Porsche) panning shots?
