I've always hated the vents in the Griff but now I've got the dash sorted I can live with the ones either side of the radio. But the one over on the passenger side really gets my goat. What an ugly pile of kak it is.
I swapped out the Leven versions the car had when I got it because they just emphasised the vents and made them look clumsy and I hoped this would help, but I still can't get over how ugly the flaming black lump of plastic sticking out from the grey dashboard is.

Has anybody replaced the vents with something more suited to a supercar than a Ford Fiesta ?

Hi, I'm currently looking at replacing my dash with a carbon fibre one and also can't stand the air vents so was going to replace them with the round metal ones seen on the SE models and the tuscan, there are two different sizes but as to how the rear of the vent will fit i'm still researching!
Hope this helps

It's an indication of just how beautiful the Griffith is as an exterior and interior design that you focus in on one item that's not even in your line of view. Personally I wish TVR had left out the ashtrays. They're unsightly, they represent a dirty habit and most of all passengers continually grab them thinking they are the door handles.

Luckily mine was a non smoking option car so no ashtrays.

What about spraying the vents a different colour? Not ideal but short of a full dashboard and dashtop change I'd guess you're stuck.

I sprayed my vents and ashtrays with some aluminium-effect Plastikote Enamel paint. Not perfect but much better than the original..

Well for once OscarT I couldn't agree with you more hehe
I've got what look like Leven ashtrays too, although I can seem to look past them - probably because I'm grinding my teeth looking at the vent on the near side.
I honestly don't mind the ones on the dash now though, I think they are in stealth mode biggrin
The other one gets my goat because it doesn't even fit. The dash is curved but the vent isn't and consequently it always looks like its about to fall out.

One way aw another I'll get that pesky wabbit

My astrays...same as dash...infact made from the offcuts smile

Very unintrusive ( is that a word?? ) in the Black Leather Doors the same as the Vents..

Re the vents..I am guessing its because you have the lighter colour Leather that makes them look more cack...
I kinda of like mine smile
