Hi,

Having sold my Chim500 about a year ago i now think its time to get myself back in the TVR game. I am currently considering a Tamora but my budget could stretch to a T350. If possible is anyone able to tell me which would be the best option eg Drivability, reliability, resale etc...? I have read so many different articles which all seem to have a different opinion.

Also what would be the average cost of a service?
I found in my chim i was averaging anything between £600 - £1200 as there were always a few small things that required attention.

Cheers.

I'd suggest you go drive both, but deciding on either will be down to do you want a convertable?

I'm really after a convertible but quite like the idea of the 350's removable roof panels. Do you use your Tam for every day use? Also how does it cope with heavy rain, have you noticed any water coming through?

I used my Tam every day for three years, and used to keep it outside with no problems. Now have a daily polo that leaks into the passenger footwell when it rains.

Tam, mostly daily and it has not leaked yet in a few years of ownership, though it does live in the garage overnight.

In heavy rain I usually get so wet getting back into the car the car mists up, but the Aircon sorts it quite quickly, also you could use a silica gell bag under each seat to capture any moisture if you did get one without aircon.
