Help. Cant shut boot!

Well, I can, but, I have noticed of late that during a journey the boot is coming undone. Nothing obvious worn or loose around the boot catch, and it only happens on the move, the weight keeps it down during the journey so its not a huge problem at the moment! I am NOT catching the release button by accident.
This a usual issue?
Any suggestions gratefullly etc..............

Check the hinges either side, they may have come loose and your boot isnt closing fully into the catch.

May need to drop the metal bracket on the boot very slightly or maybe one side needs dropping a little as it may not be going in square on. If you lower slowly onto the catch on the car you will be able to see if its in the centre, if not you need to have a play with it.

Is the boot full or carrying something heavy? I've noticed occassionally when the car is packed with luggage that the boot won't catch properly until I redistribute the weight.
