PH.com & PH.co.uk
Discussion
Ok this may be a stupid question, and until today I have always used .com, but by accident on a PC I don't usually use I typed in .co.uk, lo and behold before I could change the address it worked.
Is there any difference and why do both work when most sites are one or t'other ?
eta and where did that pinned up note paper icon come from on the forum page next to my thread ?

The pin up note paper comes from the little icons above the post where you write, and if you are the first it sticks it next to the thread... you must have selected by accident.
The .co.uk and .com all point to the same website, there is no difference (there are several other web addresses that go to the site too). The only difference you will notice is that if you have the computer remember who you are when logging in it will be associated to one of the addresses, be it .co.uk or .com, and thus you will have to login again if switching between the two (This can also be the case when someone puts a link to a pistonheads page in a forum thread that has a different ending to the one you are using)
Hope that helps

Cheers Pete, I noticed the 'remember me' wasn't working on .co.uk, it all seems clear now.
