Thanks for the replys, tubi sounds like the most popular choice however the hamann does look good.I have been quoted £1650 for the tubi stage 2,i will have to give it some thought. Many thanks.

The Tubi has the best sound and a reputation for quality.

I would encourage you to talk to Rob at AutoVogue about the Hamman system as well. Though I haven't seen this particular system, Hamman has a reputation for quality engineering as well (TuV approved, German build quality).

You could also consider the Reiter Engineering exhaust which, though pricey, looks and sounds awesome (fitted to Modena Racing's GT3 Gallardo).

Best bet is a Tubi system, as that is what Lamborghini chose as the basis for the revised exhaust system on the 06 model onwards.

Apart from sounding stunning, it also has the desired increase in performance, especially in third gear.

(Now about to be told that I don't know what I am talking about!)

I have got a 54 plate Gallardo with a Tubi on. It sounds amazing. I live in Birmingham so if you are near give me a shout and I will take you for a spin.

I have also upgraded the air filters to the latest version which makes it even louder

Have you tried calling Mike Pullen? are his exhauts not sold as the sports exhaust option from Lambo London? I bet it will be a hell of a saviing over the TUBI but don't know how it would compare on sound.

I've got the Quicksilver Supersports on mine and whilst very loud it sounds truly awesome. Much prefer it the Tubi (which does sound bloody awesome too mind!!)

Lambo London apparently took the sports exhaust off my car when I bought it, as they said it interferes with the idling...

Does the Tubi suffer from boom in the cabin?

Tried the quicksilver supersport, lots of cabin boom and not a nice sound but loud, so went de-cat tubi, awsome sound, and not too loud inside the car, lots of flames, poping on the over run,if only i could get my new gallardo to sound the same

Wait 'till some idiot out of his depth starts whining about depreciation, and you'll soon change your tune!

Welcome to Pistonheads! thumbup

or wait until some disgruntled ex-Gallardo clutch abuser starts saying that they 'know' someone who can get a those clutches for £45...

or some terrorist forum wrecker from Holldutcherlands starts swearing and cursing at you because your opinion is different to his...

BUT, really, it's not so bad here!

Plus, you and your brother are within a few miles of fellow Gallardo owners like Crikeymikey and also Lamborghini Club UK's General Secretary lives in Shropshire as well, not that you need to worry about that - they are both quite tame (these days) and house trained (mostly)!

LCUK has it's own palatial park / suburb / ghetto of PistonHeads - you can get in to that if you join the Club plus a stack of other good stuff awaits. Send me a message in reply to this post and we'll get you involved - y' know y' want to really!!
