Tyre sizes

Ive seen some 17" Raceline wheels for sale with tyres which I fancy for my car, but the tyres are all 255 wide. I know this is ok for the rear, but will they fit on the front ?

My Cerb manual lists then as:

Front: 235/40/17 22psi normal or high speed/fully laden 25psi
Rear: 255/40/17 24psi normal or high speed/fully laden 28psi

Yeah I thought the front had to be a bit narrower, I dont want to buy these wheels and be stuck with two that dont fit. hmmm, maybe I'll just hold off for some 18" spiders !!

You could always take oen pair of tyres off, get the correct size for the front and the pair taken off save them for the rear.... Depends on how much tread is left and if you can be arsed...
