So that they will fall low enough for me to buy my favourite Ferrari? biggrin

(Tell me those 250LMs are falling in price, too...)

I would be careful, there must be something wrong with it at £12k.

scam scam scam. Jese talk about making it obvious, there seems to be quite a few of these floating around nowadays and not just on PH. Ted will pull the add when he see's it.
I wouldn't say that 550's are not selling and in truth I really fancy one. But IMO everything seems to be struggling a bit. Mood of the moment, talk of unscertainty, recession and depression plus a government with expert financial capabilities wink.

Amazing how the reception to its looks were so lukewarm when it first came on the scene. I prefer the 550 to the 575M. That black one looks awesome.

Yes! Yes! and Yes!

Black is so rare, which is a shame. The dark blue ones look good, too. That said, any colour bar red and yellow would do me.

We had a similar thread on the 456.

Truth is that most people that can afford these cars buy them when they are new or newish then there is this lull while they move onto new models before the best ones become classiscs/sought after.

Obviously coupled with financial market uncerntainty which doesnt help.

IMO I think they are lovely cars. The GT1 575LM will always be one of my favourites.

I think the running cost becomes disproportionately high relative to the purchase price which must put people off.

Looks like he has a tasty garage. 550, Overfinch Range Rover in the background, and maybe an S-class or something next to the Rangie?

Isn't the seller a trader?

Am I looking at the wrong car - the link shows a 550 being offered at a price that ought too get one into a 575.....

Yeah, www.outwoodcars.com - some nice cars there, and, Argh - he has a WSR with 12k too!!!!! eek

I'm sure I read somewhere that the 575 is the worlds most expensive to run production car, but can't find the links anymore....that's a scary thought! I do prefer the looks of the 550 though.

Spot on. Especially having read the experiences of Lord Metcalf of EVO fame.

Yeah, you're right, but the £90k saved from list price for a 5 yr old buys a LOT of repairs/services/petrol/tyres/insurance...... thumbup

Why do you prefer the looks of the 550? there is visually very very little difference. Inside more so.

Dunno about mc_blue, but to me the front of the 575 is just not as nice as the 550...
