Apart from the obvious engine oil and filter, plugs, air filter, what, engine-wise, does this entail?

Nothing!

There is no cam belt, chains never changed unless they break.

Tappets never adjusted unless engine rebuilt, see above.


Its just your usual consumables

Oil and Oil Filter (ever 10)
Plugs (depending on model year, 4.2 S/C is 100)
Air filter (40)
Fuel filter at (60)
Front end drive belt is done at (100 or 150 cant remember)
Super Charger drive belt 100

up to 1998 ish they changed gearbox oil and diff oil at 60k, but this was dropped. A few enthusiast's still ask for it, but theres no drain bug in the diff, and it takes an hour drain/fill and set up the level in the box now.
