A4 electrics problems

Hi guys,

Problem with the indicators on our A4 Estate (1.8 Facelifted version from 1999). Sometimes they are fine, other times they come on solidly, and don't flash. Doesn't seem to be a pattern when they will or won't work, and they will go from working to not and back in the same journey...

Any ideas?

Also the volume control on the Concert stereo is playing up - sometimes it works, but normally if you turn it a little it shoots up to really loud, and you can't turn it down again...

Annoying as otherwise the car is great!

Next time the indicators play up, give the hazard light switch a good clout. If they start working properly again, you need a new hazard light switch.

Radio is probably internal fault with the head unit, exchange unit will be mega money, cheapest option is to try a local electrical repair shop.
