Thunder in the Tunnels - with thanks

Where do I start ?
To everyone who was there; congratulations. A great rumble !!
To the Speed 6 owners; what a noise !! Just how do you get those cars barking ?
As for the Cerb owners who turned up; I hate you all
; I just HAVE to get one and scratch a longstanding itch (Kostas, Nicky; it's all YOUR fault).
To the guys and gals who joined me on the run up from Reading, thanks for dragging yourselves out of bed at that unearthy hour.
Good to catch up with a few old friends, and meet a number of new faces. Hope the Chim with the dodgy alarm, flooded Cerb and Griff with alternator problems all got sorted (bringing a backup wedge was a clever move!!).
It was the run around Whitehall that really did it for me, having made it late last year; the sound off all those cars blatting up and down there will be in my memory for years to come.
Lastly, a MASSIVE thank-you to Dave for all the organisation work; I know how much effort went into that, and it's much apprecaited.
Oh, and to whoever posted the "get over it" comments on the 2007 threead, you should have been out today.
Off to the Cerb classifieds,
Mike
