My Chim Died Today

Officially passed away at 12.50pm 
Had just put some fuel in then went to start it and ..... no dash lights .... nothing. Central locking, windows, hazard lights still working but that was it.
Battery, starter motor and the usual suspects found to be fine. Turns out to be a wire in the ignition and subsequently burnt out the relay (Ignition leads one I believe)
Car recovered on the back of a large truck and now lying in peace in the garage. All I need now is to find a good auto electrician. The whole episode from start to finish took about three hours .... and I live about a mile from where the car died. It could have been a lot worse.
