Does anyone know what the room is like inside the SLR. I'm thinking about going for one, but I wondered if I need to modify the seats etc. I'm 6'6". Any ideas?

Well I'm 6' 3' and I was comfortable in one, I can't recall how much extra room there was though.

Hi Richard, i must say your fleet is awesome, i don't think you have gone wrong on a single car. I hear Vicki emailed you about your experience on the murci so thanks for that, still can't decide what to go for.
Your old car is still turns heads btw and i'll be sorry to see it go, glad you seem to be doing well for yourself still.

Clarkson is 6"5 and he raced the SLR to Sweden against May and Hammond. He slept int he car as well according to the film so i'm sure you will fit without problems.

It maybe a close call. Got a friend who looked at one earlier this year and think he is in 6'6" region. He couldn't fit into it comfortably.

You should be ok and you should go for the wide seat option which some SLR's have! I think there's one in the Autotrader with wide seats and is only 175k!

Was quite suprised to see Tom Hartley selling a 55 plate 14,000 miler for £185k. Doesn't mention if it's UK or US

Jonny, I'm sure I heard of one for sale around the 150k mark. If your interested I'll do some digging to find out if it's a real car or just pub talk.
